About Nancy
I work from my home in Southwest Michigan, where the pace is slow, the trees are tall, and a lake is never too far away. My house is full of books, musical instruments, coffee mugs, and fur balls on four paws.
I’m a longtime writer, a not-so-longtime sketcher, and a parent to three grown kids with more talent and skills than I can keep track of, like art, dance, microbiology, ceramics, woodworking, philosophy, music, social work, screenwriting, and music direction and production. All three are fabulous writers, too, and that makes me so proud.
Most days, I'm busy writing, working through online modules on cybersecurity, tracking real estate data (a slightly obsessive side hobby), exploring AI trends, digging into UX writing coursework, and using ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude as my own personal university—one prompt, one insight, one unexpected detour at a time.
I try to live with both feet in the present—curious, creative, and fully engaged—while also preparing for whatever comes next.
